Our Team

Doug Jack BS, CPO, President, Owner began working in the field of prosthetics and orthotics in January 1984 as a prosthetic and orthotic technician.  He went back to school with the goal of being a practitioner, while continuing to work as a technician.  In January 1989, he was accepted into the Orthotics & Prosthetics Bachelor Degree program at California State University, Dominguez Hills.  He graduated with a BS degree in Health Science with a specialty in O&P in December 1990.  He worked for NovaCare as a practitioner from January 1991 to February 1992.  After relocating to Montana, he opened his own practice, Northern Care, Inc. in May 1992.  He became board certified in orthotics in 1993, by the American Board for Certification (ABC) and became board certified in prosthetics by ABC, in 1994.  Northern Care, Inc. became an accredited facility by the American Board for Certification in 2006.  He keeps current on the advancements in the field by attending professional association meetings.  His hobbies include hunting, fishing, biking, skiing and spending time with his wife and two teenage sons.

Lori Jack, BS, Office Manager, Sec/Treas received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in December 1990 from the California State University, Dominguez Hills.  After relocating to Montana in 1992 with her husband, she began working as the office manager for Northern Care, Inc.  Over the years, she has attended several coding and billing seminars and business classes, sponsored by the American Orthotic & Prosthetic Association (AOPA).  She oversees the front office and maintains government regulations as they apply to orthotics & prosthetics.  Her hobbies include biking, hiking, skiing, knitting, cooking and spending time with her husband and two teenage sons.

Stan Gautier, CPO began working in the field of orthotics & prosthetics in 1984 when he attended the Prosthetic Technician Program at Spokane Falls Community College in Washington between 1984 and 1985.  He began working for Cascade Orthopedic Supply in 1985 where he fabricated custom orthopedic and prosthetic devices as a central fabrication facility for other O&P facilities.  While working for Cascade, he was an instructor for the course "Fabricating with Carbon Composites" and was an assistant instructor for "Transfemoral/Transtibial Silicone Suspension Systems."  He became board certified in prosthetics & orthotics in 2000 by Board for Certification (BOC).  He began working for Northern Care, Inc. as a practitioner in June 2000.  In 2005, his BOC certification was converted to CPO status.  He keeps current on the advancements in the field by attending professional association meetings.  Stan and his wife Lee live on 11 acres in Kila.  They have a garden and enjoy taking care of their small animal menagerie.  They enjoy tent trailer camping, skiing and snow shoeing.  Stan is a long time woodworker and loves to read.

Brian Serna began working for Northern Care, Inc. as an orthotic and prosthetic technician in 2004.  He grew up in Libby Montana and relocated to Kalispell in 2004 after spending five years working for Stimson Lumber, when the mill closed.  He performs the majority of the orthotic and prosthetic fabrication, administers the purchasing of fabrication materials and components, and is in charge of inventory control.  He is very creative and detail oriented.  He enjoys hunting, camping and spending time with his wife and two boys.

Jaci Treece, Administrative Assistant/Billing Representative began working for Northern Care, Inc. in February 2010.  She was raised in Havre Montana and also attended Northern Montana College there.  She relocated to Kalispell in 1993.  She assists Stan with the administrative work involved with his patient's.  This includes scheduling appointments, managing patient electronic files, insurance verification and authorization, billing and answering phones.  She is married to Kevin and they have three sons and a family dog, Parker.  In her free time, she enjoys participating in outdoor activities, cooking, decorating, reading and spending time with her family and friends.

Susanne Cogar, Administrative Assistant/Billing Representative began working for Northern Care, Inc. in February 2010.  She has lived in the Flathead Valley for over 17 years.  She assists Doug with the administrative work involved with his patient's.  This includes scheduling appointments, managing patient electronic files, insurance verification and authorization, billing and answering phones.  She keeps busy with family life which includes her husband and three sons.

Tate Jack, office mascot has been coming to work since she was 6 weeks old.  She turned 12  on February 9th.  She greets all clients and opens the handicap door for those in need.  She is loved by all and is part of the Northern Care family.  Her hobbies include walking, swimming, and playing fetch.
